Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Food Trucksy platform. These Terms govern your use of our website and services as a client, vendor, or visitor.
By accessing or using the Food Trucksy website (foodtrucksy.com) and any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all visitors, clients, vendors, and others who access or use the Service. Food Trucksy reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Food Trucksy is a food truck booking and coordination platform based in Houston, Texas. We connect clients seeking food truck catering with independent food truck vendors. Food Trucksy acts as an intermediary and is not itself a food truck operator or caterer.
We facilitate event inquiries, vendor assignments, quote generation, contract execution, and payment processing. The actual food service is provided by independent vendor businesses, not by Food Trucksy.
Clients who submit booking inquiries agree to provide accurate event details including date, location, estimated guest count, and cuisine preferences. Providing false or misleading information may result in cancellation of your booking without refund.
Clients are responsible for ensuring the event venue permits food truck access, including adequate space, power supply (if required), and any necessary permits or HOA approvals. Food Trucksy is not liable for cancellations resulting from venue restrictions.
Payment for confirmed events is due according to the terms outlined in your event quote and client contract. Late or failed payments may result in cancellation of the booking.
Vendors listed on Food Trucksy must maintain all required business licenses, food handler permits, and liability insurance as required by the State of Texas and applicable local ordinances. Vendors are solely responsible for the quality, safety, and legality of the food they serve.
Vendors agree to honor confirmed bookings and to communicate promptly with Food Trucksy regarding availability, scheduling conflicts, or any issues that may affect event fulfillment.
For vending events, vendors agree to submit accurate sales reports within the timeframe specified by Food Trucksy and to remit the applicable 10% platform fee on net sales (or the agreed guarantee minimum, whichever is greater).
Vendors may not solicit clients discovered through Food Trucksy for direct bookings that circumvent the platform. Violation of this policy may result in immediate removal from the platform.
Clients pay for booked events according to the quote provided by Food Trucksy. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Food Trucksy charges an 8% platform fee on the event subtotal plus tax, which is included in the total quoted price.
For vending events, vendors owe Food Trucksy 10% of their net sales from the event, subject to any agreed guarantee minimum. This fee is collected after the event upon submission of the vendor's sales report.
All prices are in U.S. dollars. Food Trucksy is not responsible for currency conversion fees charged by your bank or card issuer.
Cancellation policies are outlined in your individual event contract. In general, cancellations made more than 14 days before the event date may be eligible for a partial refund at Food Trucksy's discretion. Cancellations within 14 days of the event are generally non-refundable.
If a vendor cancels a confirmed booking, Food Trucksy will make reasonable efforts to find a replacement vendor. If no replacement is available, the client will receive a full refund of any amounts paid.
Food Trucksy reserves the right to cancel any booking in the event of circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, or vendor non-compliance.

Food Trucksy acts solely as a booking intermediary. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of food served by vendors, nor for any illness, injury, property damage, or other harm arising from a vendor's food service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Food Trucksy's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Food Trucksy in the three months preceding the claim.
Food Trucksy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with the Service.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Food Trucksy, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.
