Caged Crow Customs was founded in 2012 by Josh and Chelsea Romaker. We began as a small welding, blacksmith and fab shop and eventually we custom built a concession trailer for a client, and then another, and before we knew it, a full schedule of builds and our growing business was in full swing.
Caged Crow Customs specializes in building unique custom food trucks, concession trailers and mobile businesses with a focus on providing quality craftsmanship, functionality and originality to each and every project.
We have built a team of skilled metal fabricators, welders, carpenters, plumbers, installers and electricians to bring these one of a kind custom food trucks and trailers to life. From the very start we set out to accomplish on thing, change the mobile food industry experience.
Caged Crow Customs Build Process
THE BUILD LIST
In the first phase, we will work together to create a custom build sheet that covers everything needed for the project. We will discuss the pros and cons of trucks vs. trailers and determine the type and size of mobile platform that will work best for you. Equipment needs and local code requirements will be covered next. This build sheet serves as a working document leading up to a signed contract with Caged Crow Customs.
LAYOUT & DESIGN
Once we have dialed in the type of mobile platform we will be fabricating, the design process comes next. We discuss your brand and vision as to how you want your food truck or trailer to look and feel inside and out. We will develop a detailed layout hat will provide you with an interactive experience as to what your finished kitchen will look and feel like. We then take these drawings and design inspiration for our fabrication process.
IT'S A DEAL
Once the build sheet and design phase is completed, we will send you an estimate and contract which covers the build price, equipment specs, warranty and payment terms. The build timeline depends on the complexity of the project and our current workload. Before signing of the agreement we will determine the timeline of your project.
This is where the action happens! Once we begin fabricating your truck or trailer we will share photos with you and keep you up to date with progress updates. We will also continue to help educate you on food truck safety and assist with obtaining local health, fire and any other permits needed to get you on the road and operational.
